    Safari Itinerary

    Day 1: Kampala – Kibale National Park

    Leave Kampala after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just below the Ruwenzori Mountains ranges. You’ll enjoy an afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for outstanding cultural visit.

    Meals and overnight stay at Kyaninga Lodge (luxury facility) or Primate Lodge and Forest Cottage (mid range) or Chimpanzee Guest House (budget facility). Meal plan: (L, D)

    Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale – Queen Elizabeth

    In the morning you will have breakfast to transfer to Kibale Headquarters for briefing before setting off for a forest walk in search for chimpanzees. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on small organisms, which make it interesting.

    The walk will reward you with other primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, and Red-tailed monkeys.

    After chimp trekking drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park ready for an evening two hour boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel. This is a worthwhile opportunity to see hippos, buffaloes, Kobs, African Elephants and warthogs among others. This trip will also give visitors a chance to see spectacular bird species.

    Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge (luxury facility) or Enganzi Lodge (mid range) or Ihamba Safari Lodge Bandas (budget facility). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    Day 3: Queen Elizabeth – Kampala/Entebbe

    Begin your day with a cup of coffee, then an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile where visitors encounter elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs, crater lakes and a variety of bird species. Thereafter, drive through the Ishasha Sector. This takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment.

    Return to Kampala, with lunch enroute with stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre to explore the life style of the Ankole and Bahima and thereafter proceed to the Equator Uganda before your evening departures home.
