Turaco Treetops is the newest semi-luxury lodge found in Kibale Forest National Park. The lodge is set right at the edge of the forest, offering guests a unique experience in the forest with stunning views over the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains.
Turaco Treetops is the place to go to while on your chimpanzee trekking safari. You will enjoy sharing mouthwatering meals, chilling and winding near the fire place, while learning more about the surrounding nature. The lodge is very close to the park headquarters, which makes it possible for guests to access the park easier, on foot.
The lodge is perfectly set on approximately 5.2 hectares of a tropical dense rain forest of lush green. The lodge attracts a good number of spectacular birds, making it an ideal choice to stay at for the bird lovers. Monkeys and chimpanzees roam around the lodge on an everyday basis. Bush Babies, Black and White Colobus monkeys and of course the Great Blue Turaco are part of the residents at Turaco Treetops
The Luxury Cottages at Turaco Treetops
With 8 luxury cottages situated at secluded locations in the jungle, the lodge is indeed so spacious. The cottages have large windows and outside wooden decks, which provide splendid views over Kibale Forest.
The Budget Cottage
For those that wish to spend less, stay in a budget section, ‘Chimp’s House’, perched in the middle of the forest. Stay in the very cozy cottage that provides a carefree jungle experience.

The facility holds a perfect restaurant, a lounge area with a cozy fireplace, a bar, and an outside terrace. The first-floor lounge boasts of spectacular views over the forest and the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains. Swimming Pool at the Lodge
Refresh and relax at the pool side after your chimpanzee habituation or trekking and re-energize. The 5×10 meter swimming pool is strategically positioned in the lush garden in front of Turaco Treetops’ main building. The pool also has a shallow end for the youngest guests.
