Itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrival Entebbe Airport
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to Kampala Serena Hotel/Protea Hotel in Entebbe (high end), for an overnight stay and dinner. Meal plan: Dinner
Day 2: Kampala – Kibale National Park:
Leave Kampala after breakfast, for a fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just below the Rwenzori Mountains. Then get on with an afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area for an outstanding view.

Day 3: Kibale Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
Today is dedicated for chimpanzee habituation experience. Start the day with an early morning breakfast and a packed lunch as you set off to the forest, before dawn breaks. You meet your guide for briefing before setting off to where the chimpanzees built their nests the night before. Dawn is just breaking and the chimpanzee community you are going to be with for the rest of the day is just rising from their sleep in the nests.
Your day will be full, so your camera will fill up with quality pictures of the chimpanzees and you will get to learn to identify them with unique features that each from the rest. Besides everything described, there are the most colorful butterflies, plenty of bird species, plants and trees that will amaze you, because the forest setting is simply awesome.

Day 4: Kibale National Park – Kampala
Morning visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the swamp. This walk will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna, and to view a variety of butterflies, bird species and other colorful insects. Thereafter drive back to Kampala with lunch enroute.
