Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe Airport – Fly to Kasese Airstrip & Transfer to Kibale National Park
Our guide/driver picks you at from your hotel in Entebbe for your transfer to Entebbe International Airports to catch up with a scheduled flight to the nearest Kasese airstrip. You can choose to go with a morning flight (Departs at 0745 arriving 1005) or with the afternoon flight (Departing at 1245 arriving at 1435). You will enjoy the aerial view of the beautiful changing landscapes.
The flight is only for 2 hours to Kibale Forest National Park filled with primates and exotic birds and papyrus swamps.
Upon arrival at Kasese airstrip, you will meet our safari guide waiting for your onward transfer to Kibale Forest Park, then proceed for an afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area for outstanding views.

Day 2: Kibale Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
Today is dedicated for a chimpanzee habituation experience. You will start the day with an early morning breakfast and a packed lunch before setting off into the forest. You will meet your guide for a briefing and then set off to track where the chimpanzees built nests the night before. Dawn is just breaking and the chimpanzee community you are going to be with the rest of the day is rising from their sleep in the nests.
Expect your day to be full, so your camera might fill up with quality pictures of the chimpanzees. You will get a chance to learn to identify the chimpanzees as individuals by their markings, sometimes scars and other unique features, that make them stand apart from rest.
Besides everything described, there are the most colorful butterflies, plants and trees that will amaze you, because the forest setting is simply awesome.

Day 3: Kibale National Park – Kasese Airstrip Fly to Entebbe Airport
Morning transfer to Kasese Airstrip for those taking a morning flight departing at 1020 for Entebbe and arriving at 1125. Recommended afternoon flight usually leaves Kasese at 1455 arriving at 1555.
For guests taking on the afternoon option, you will start your morning with a visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the swamp. This walk will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna, and views of a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects. Thereafter, be dropped off to Kasese airstrip for your onward flight returning to Entebbe Airport.
