Safari Itinerary:
Day 1: Entebbe Airport – Fly to Kasese Airstrip & Transfer to Kibale National Park
Our guide/driver picks you at from your hotel in Entebbe for your transfer to Entebbe International Airports to catch up with a scheduled flight to the nearest Kasese airstrip. You can choose to go with a morning flight (departs at 0745hrs arriving 1005hrs) or with the afternoon flight (departing at 1245hrs arriving at 1435hrs). You will enjoy the aerial view of the beautiful changing landscape.
The flight is only for 2 hours to Kibale Forest National Park filled with primates and exotic birds and papyrus swamps. Upon arrival at Kasese airstrip, you will meet our safari guide waiting for your onward transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy an afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area for an outstanding view.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Kibale
After an early morning breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzees in Kibale forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90%, with a guarantee. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on small organisms, thus making it interesting. The walk will also reward you with other primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s Monkey and butterflies.
After lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the swamp. This walk will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, bird species and other insects. Have a tour of the crater region around Ndali lodge. You may also stop over at any tea plantation along the road if you wish.

Day 3: Kibale National Park – Kasese Airstrip Fly to Entebbe Airport
Morning transfer to Kasese Airstrip for those taking a morning flight departing at 1020hrs for Entebbe arriving at 1125hrs. Recommended afternoon flight leaving Kasese at 1455hrs arriving at 1550hrs. For guest taking on the afternoon option, you will start your morning with a visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on any of the optional activities below.
